What Does “Make It Ready” Mean?

Make It Ready means preparing a property for what comes next. That may mean getting it ready to list, lease, occupy, turn over, open, sell, or move forward.

When a property needs multiple things handled before it can move forward, Make It Ready is the company you call.

Preparing a Property for Listing

Photos and showings expose everything. Listing preparation covers paint touch-ups, drywall repair, caulking, door hardware, pressure washing, finishing landscaping, and the punch-list items a seller has been living with.

Preparing a Rental Between Tenants

A turnover resets the property for the next occupant: touch-up paint, drywall repair, doors and hardware, cosmetic appliance fixes, and exterior finishing. A property that isn't ready can delay occupancy.

Preparing an Acquisition

Newly acquired properties often come with several loose ends. They need to be handled before the property can be leased, occupied, or marketed.

Preparing a Commercial Property for Occupancy

New occupancy or an opening needs finishing work: touch-ups, caulking, door hardware, building numbers, pressure washing, and finishing landscaping. This is different from tenant improvements or build-outs, which change the space.

Interior and Exterior Readiness

Readiness doesn't stop at the front door. A freshly painted interior behind a stained driveway and overgrown beds still isn't ready.
